Hebdomad is a piano suite where each movement reflects a day in the week. The order is to be determined by the performer. There are 5,040 possible ways to order these movements - the current numerical designations are arbitrary.
The piece began in 2012 but after careful revision has been completed. It is my first extended solo work for piano and one that is fun for the listener as well as the performer. As the program note says it is encouraged that the performers choose their own orders and not to follow the designations.
